Marketing Manager / Executive
Our client is looking for an experienced Marketing Manager/Executive to undertake maternity leave cover up to 11 months.
They are a market leader in security services and systems.
Our client is looking for candidates who posses the following:-
- At least 2 years experience in a similar Marketing role, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Be confident and able to work on own initiative, including the ability to make decisions under pressure.
- Good people skills (both with internal & external customers).
- To have experience of managing a number of ongoing projects.
- Experience of managing/supervising a team would be an advantage.
- Be confident to chair meetings, make key decisions and manage a budget.
- Be a team player (the successful candidate would be part of a management team as well as working alongside many other departments in the business).
- Be comfortable in a customer facing role, i.e. at exhibitions and in meetings with customers/distributors etc.
- May involve managing a sales team of three if required.

Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Marketing Manager are to design, manage and implement the companies Marketing Plan.
Some typical tasks
Exhibitions
Plan, organise and implement company exhibition plan for the year. They exhibit at approximately 7 exhibitions globally throughout the year. The successful candidate will also be required to attend some of these exhibitions – definitely the IFSEC exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham in May 2012.
Website
Key responsibilities will be to ensure that the website is maintained and updated with key information. This will include:
- Writing and updating case studies
- Maintaining the website CMS (Content Management System)
- Monitor the success of Calls to Action (CTA’s),
- Ensure the multilingual microsites are kept up to date
- Managing the email marketing / marketing campaigns.
External / Internal Communications
Coordinating and organising various activities to assist with internal and external communications.
External – Proactive Marketing
To manage and organise various mailings (letters & e-shots), newsletters and communications to the companies customer base and prospective customers, as and when required.
Marketing Collateral
To oversee and arrange the design and print of the company’s marketing materials, i.e. Product Brochures, Corporate brochure/CDs/USBs. Ensure these are kept up to date and accurate.
PR/Advertising Opportunities
Take advantage of various PR/Advertising opportunities in order to raise the company’s profile further in the Security Industry.
Sales Synergy Forum
This is a CRH initiative to manage sales leads within the group and to maximise the sales opportunities through the synergies between group companies. It is the responsibility of the Marketing Manager to oversee and manage this database on behalf of the company.
Market Development/Market Research
CRM / Lead Management / Customer Database
This role is to cover maternity leave running for up to 11 months.
